5. Last Dream You Had

I have this reoccurring dream where I find a lot of Sailor Moon merchandise such as RPG toys for sale. It happened again last night. Every time I try to reason with myself that it could be real, I wake up empty-handed.

10. A gift you gave & a gift you received

Lately, I’ve been spoiling my friends with gifts! I love to send people my handmade jewelry because I take pride in it and recently Teen Mermaid sent me a really lovely package with handmade goods and a sweet letter for me.

14. A wish that came true

I wished I would have a successful online shop and it came true! I wished it on the night I saw a shooting star, which was also the day I coined the name “Starlight Deco Dream” (My shop)

42. Cutest thing?

Babies wearing little footies with animal ears and tails. More specifically, this really really FAT Korean babby wearing one who flopped down on the floor and started crawling to me gurgling. *swoons*

45. Comfort Food

Baked Mac n’ Cheese!

How’s the quality of Swimmer sneakers? I mean, they’re cheaper than a lot of other nice sneakers…

It varies from pair to pair. I have some lavender ones with white hearts and the material could be better, but they’re comfortable. The other three I own are great though! Amazing quality for the price. I wear a pair of SWIMMER sneakers almost every day and I’m waiting on a new pair to come in the mail. I have some Angelic Pretty sneakers that fell apart in a month and were in no way water-proof. SWIMMER beats out all of the cute sneakers I own. Hope this helps!

Which one of yours is MEZZO PIANO?

EDIT : These are super cute, sold out, and were not the best quality. They’re falling apart now, ahahaha…I wore them so much.

Ask me anything

Do you know any other brand that sells cute sneakers like Swimmer?

From the ones I own, Osiris, MEZZO PIANO, Irregular Choice have some great stuff.

I always liked Pastry shoes, but don’t own any yet.

For the TL;DR (Too long didn’t read) International Wig was the absolute WORST experience with ordering a wig online, aside from the experimental ‘custom-dyed’ wig I ordered from Cosworx ages ago. (The colours rubbed off on my clothes T_T)

Back in 2008, International Wig sent me the wrong product and told me I was wrong for asking for the correct item. They refused to send me the correct item and treated me like crap I advise people to not do business with them or else you may receive the incorrect item and be talked down to. There are two different product codes for the item I ordered and I got the one with the wrong product code. I also got messages back from the “photographer” (from the same email, mind you) as “back up” to their problems. They called me rude and told me that they refuse to give me my money back because I am not right and will not be right no matter what I do. For the full story on this incident, check out my old livejournal post here.

I bought it from Japan ☆

It is an official item of Studio Pierrot shop.

Only limited supply were produced.

It was a pop-up shop, so it’s no longer there.

Maybe you can find on an auction site?

Cheers! (≧◡~) ⌒☆ :..。o○☆

Sometimes I wear Dolly Wink “Baby Cute” individual bottom lashes.

Most of the time, I go for a really bold look and use regular lashes reversed.

I prefer the long spaced out / volume-type as “B” has. Sometimes I layer them.

It’s a little different now. The closed closet has black & white items & petticoats. Here are more photos!

Well kinda related to the other anon I guess, do you think you’ll do more longer wigs? :)

In the coming year, Mahou Kei’s wig line will expand, I’m sure of it! Yet it’s a matter of storing the wigs properly and my little warehouse space is full so far ^^;;; I do wish the Mermaid blonde, mint and pink would get more recognition, as it’s lovely with Toy Parade and Toy Fantasy! I actually would like to see shorter styles, as I want something which would be comfortable for hotter climates, like where I live, haha. I can’t wear long lolita wigs without burning up! I’m also making some which take inspiration from older magical girl series and many of them had short hair.

May I ask how you were able to become so comfortable with yourself when so many women/girls today are not? It's something I struggle with and hope to someday be as straight forward and self assured as you about my appearance.

Growing up, a lot of people would pick on me for being different. I was bullied a lot, but I never took anything they said to heart. Even wearing glittering cute character tees, I’d never let them get away with bullying and teasing. Sometimes, I’d turn it into laughter. Sometimes, I’d outsmart them. The dark-skinned black kids would say I was white and the white kids would say I was weird, because I didn’t share features like they did. I’d have my hair pulled, saying it was fake or saying I was fake. I’m very much used to people asking me about my features. On the other side, I’d be questioned as to why I liked things which were “not black.” What I didn’t understand is, what is the point of shoving a person into a category? I’m too free and open with my happiness to want to impede on someone else’s.

For me, I have a lot of self confidence because I’m very aware of my heritage, my cultural background, my family, and my self. I have always been taught to “Say It Loud! I’m Black and I’m Proud!” and I have never stopped feeling this way deep in my heart.

At the end of the day, I know I’m the only one who makes me happy, so there is no reason for me to look back at a picture in a magazine or compare myself with a celebrity. I always enjoyed my talents, strengths, weaknesses, and know who am I is like no one else.

If you want to have a confidence boost, remember there is no one quite like you. If there is, you’re doing something wrong. Be yourself, no matter who questions it!

How do you feel about Replicas?

It’s 50/50. In terms of lolita, I’m not going to buy cheaply made faux leather shoes for 200 USD, that’s for sure. I’d rather pay around 60 for them. As for clothing, I wouldn’t wear it myself, but if there isn’t supply for the demand, sometimes you get what you can get.
